Claudine Barretto leaves the ABS-CBN subsidiary Star Magic/Star Cinema for Viva Films. Claudine Barretto reportedly is also set to do a soap with husband Raymart Santiago in rival GMA-7. Before this news that caught ABS-CBN by surprise, Claudine Barretto was supposed to do a teleserye with sister Gretchen Barretto. Reportedly, Claudine Barretto made diva demands for her to sign the contract for the teleserye but before she could sign it, she reportedly made an alibi that her house beside the Marikina River was flooded and with it her contract papers were destroyed.
