Chris Cayzer auditioned for “The X Factor Australia” and he got through. Mel B, formerly of the Spice Girls and one of judges of the X Factor Australia, gave Chris Cayzer a standing ovation and said that he could win the entire competition.
“There’s something extra special with you that I haven’t seen in a long time. If you’re serious about this, you could win this,” Mel B. said.
Ronan Keating, formerly of the boy band Boyzone, said Chris Cayzer could do really well in the competition. Australian singer/actress Natalie Bassingthwaighte said she is happy that Chris returned to Australia. In the introduction before performing “A Thousand Miles” Chris revealed that he was a singer/actor in the Philippines for 6 years and considered his career in the Philippines as his training ground.
Meanwhile, Guy Sebastian, a former winner of “Australian Idol,” said no to Chris Cayzer. Guy Sebastian said Chris needs a lot more to make it to The X Factor Australia. “I like you but if you want to be a superstar, you would have to grow a lot,” Guy said.
