Charice Fingerprint Video and Lyrics

Our very own Charice Pempengco at the Mr. Chow Oscar Awards After Party performing her first recorded song “Fingerprint” off her very first US Album. Charice performed where the actual Academy Awards was held, at the Kodak Theatre. Charice is being supported by big industry names such as David Foster and THE Oprah Winfrey herself in her Hollywood debut. This is an amazing accomplishment. Anyway, although the song is catchy and all, it sounded like a Katherine McPhee song, who by the way is also being handled by David Foster. Fingerprint also does not showcase much Charice’s amazing vocals.
Anyway, here is the Fingerprint by Charice Lyrics:
FINGERPRINT
Charice
How can I be sure
When everything is so confusing?
I’m old enough to learn
That I’m too young to know what I’m doing.
Gotta break free
From what used to be
It no longer makes sense to me.
How do I stand out
In a world that’s all about fitting in?
I’m certain of my doubts
But I wouldn’t be me for no reason.
My identity
Right in front of me
There’s nobody else I wanna be like.
I’m just trying to find
Find my fingerprint.
Redefine who am I,
Where do I begin?
All I know is what I’ve been told
But the one I see in the mirror is so different
Unique as my fingerprint.
I’m positive
That I don’t know where I’m going.
How do I make sense
Of all these crazy emotions?
I’m up and down, can’t turn around
But I’m so clear in my intention.
Oh cause I’m just trying to find
Find my fingerprint
Redefine who am I
Where do I begin?
All I know is what I’ve been told
But the one I see in the mirror is so different
Unique as my fingerprint.
To facing me like I’ve seen me,
Not even close
If they know me like I know me,
I don’t know.
I’m still undecided but I realize that it’s okay.
Good things are worth the wait.
I’m just trying… yeah, yea yeah!
Where do I begin?
All I know… oh oh oh oh oh so different
Unique as my fingerprint.
Find my fingerprint
Redefine who am I
Where do I begin?
All I know is what I’ve been told
But the one I see in the mirror is so different
Unique as my fingerprint.
