Many were shocked when 28-year-old Channing Tatum, sexy hot young actor, announced his engagement to fellow Step Up co-star Jenna Dewan last September 2008 in Hawaii. After all, Channing Tatum has a brighter future in Hollywood if the lineup of films he is going to appear in will be a basis. In fact, Channing Tatum turned down a role in “Poor Things” opposite such big Hollywood stars as Lindsay Lohan, Shirley MacLaine, Rosario Dawson, and Olympia Dukakis. At 28, Channing Tatum has already bagged an Independent Spirit Award nomination for “Best Supporting Actor” for the film “A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints” which also stars Robert Downey Jr. and Shia LaBeouf in 2006.
In the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, Channing Tatum won the award for “Choice Movie Actor Drama” for “Stop-Loss.” He also won as part of the cast of “Step Up 2 the Streets” Choice Movie Drama.
