Celine Lopez before the scandal

Celine Lopez and Albertito LopezThis has been emailed to me, this actually concerned Albertito Lopez, brother of Celine Lopez. Celine Lopez if you still don’t know is the Editor of the Philippine Star’s Y Style section and is a socialite/entrepreneur too. Reportedly, her family also owns Meralco, ABS-CBN, Bayantel, Manila Water, etc… Celine Lopez recently figured in the Manila High Society scandal, ala Gossip Girl, when her name was dragged into the DJ Montano and Brian Gorell issue. Before everyone reacts na naman that this is old news (email), yes, the sender says this happened last year, pls. read the context of the blog stories here before reacting, the context is Celine Lopez “Before The Scandal”..I’m shelling out my own money to pay for this site and the least that i deserve is a scolding.

Rich Kids, Spoiled (rotten) Brats, and Drug Addicts
by: Zharmagne

After hibernating in the social scene of Manila for some time, sad to say that some rotten egg/s are still around. Don’t get me wrong, I was never part of the “in-crowd” to begin with, although, I go out with friends on weekends to have fun, I was never one to feel superior or almighty than the rest of the crowd. I’ve had my fair share of “party” friends but none of them acted condescending. They never even forced me to take drugs or anything against my will. It was pure, clean fun for me that lasted before 12MN every Saturday.

Last night Rod and I went to Cuisine as we were invited by a good friend (Carlo) to celebrate his girlfriend’s (Finina) birthday. Carlo gathered his closest friends to be part of Finina’s party. Carlo, F, Rod and I arrived all at the same time and settled at the sunken tables in the middle Cuisine. The place was still half empty when we got there but people (or shall I say kids?) were filling up the place fast. A group of people occupied the table next to ours; they were bunch of Caucasians and some pinoy “party people” (most are controversial). The Caucasians were mostly fashion models here in Manila for some job stints. I even recognized one guy (through a photo) among the group whom Aris met in China a few months back. Aris was telling me that she met a good looking model in Shanghai.

Koichi arrived shortly after we got there, Ko being the ultimate party guy amongst Carlo, Rod and I was of course jumping from one table to the other, greeting his friends. As he finally sat at the end of the table closely next to the other table full of models (and drug addicts), being the funny and sociable person that Ko is, he started talking and flirting with the 2 white chicks next to him. They were laughing and even comparing their heights. Ko was probably doing his infamous style of luring women through his old antics and humor. Little did we know that this was going to the high light of our evening.

What was supposedly a fun night turned sour when all of a sudden I noticed this tall, thin guy looking at Ko (and looking at me alternately, he was probably looking at me because I was the only one looking back at him) he summoned a bouncer of Cuisine while looking at our direction and gesturing with his fingers that he’s going to kill Ko. I instantly felt scared. I even told Rod what I thought was happening. Koichi then approached their table as he already knew what was happening. He tried to shake the guy’s hand but the ugly, anemic guy said: I’m not going to shake your hand! Do you even know who I am? I own Meralco! I own ABS-CBN! I’m a Lopez!

(apparently, the guy felt threatened by Ko’s advances towards the chicks. He claims that he owns those two girls) Ko left him and sat down beside Rod again this time he was smoking his cigarette with his eyes fixed in one direction avoiding the lunatic’s gaze. The ugly anemic guy was still motioning to the bouncers to make Ko leave the bar or else he will call his body guards and have Ko killed right then and there. Some of the guys with the ugly anemic were with are even friends of Ko. One approached our side and urged Ko to just leave so there will be no trouble.

The friend even apologized to Ko and said that their lunatic friend is just drunk (drunk or drugged? Or both) they begged Ko to leave pronto to appease the ugly, stupid, anemic, spoiled brat, insecure loser that he is. This imbecile happens to be the brother of Celine Lopez, the social columnist of Phil. Star and a socialite “party” animal herself. But unlike her brother, I don’t think she makes anyone leave an establishment just because she is threatened or insecure. So, to make the shallow scene over, and because Koichi did not want to ruin the party of Finina, he left and went back to Cyma in Greenbelt where his friends were waiting for him. Carlo was wondering why Ko left all of a sudden. Rod and I couldn’t tell him what took place as Carlo might heat up and start the fight himself. After a while, we told Carlo what happened and as expected he was furious. He called Koichi and told him to come back. Cerlo told Ko that he’ll call some cops for back up. Too funny!

What happened to us that night reminded me of high school, only this time, the bad guy is much older. He was obviously on drugs that night that he felt he was Albertito Almighty only he forgot that he is a no body! A spoiled rotten brat sucking off his parents money to buy drugs. He is so insecure that he picks up fights with someone half his size. Mind you, that ugly person did not even stop after Ko left. He kept gesturing still with his index finger, slashing it across his neck trying to tell us that he’s going to kill us– or Ko.

I pity this poor guy. He is the most pathetic person in the bar that even the bouncers were mocking him. Carlo over heard one of the bouncers say: Insecure lang yan! He certainly made a big fool out of himself! After all, who would not feel insecure if you were kicked out of school, your name is Albertito, you look like a retard and you take cocaine to feel confident.

Reportedly, Celine Lopez apologized in behalf of his brother’s actions though.

sooooooooooo nouveau riche luv, that’s all i can say about this illegitimate side of the fernando lopez clan…they are all truly barbaric: mother, son and coke ish it celine!

I hate what these people represent! I only hope, wish and pray that they be put in their rightful place/s. Ugh! I pity them really….but more than that I loathe what they stand for. As for the Lopez clan….now that’s a different story. I mean can you really blame Albertito and Celine? This is probably an old family practice…you know the hunger for power thing they got going? Among other things of course. Oh well. We can only do our parts.

Actually celine and albertito or titoy is the children of Albertito by his mistress emily lopez. Fernando Lopez must turning over in his grave right now if he learns that his grand children are squandering money his money. They only inherited their money after the death of Tatay Nanding Lopez back in 1993-1994 but before that their dad was just an employee of the Lopez Corp. Whatever celine would write in her column about growing up in Forbes with her grandparents nanding and mariquit is nothin but a fantasy because Nanding and Mariquit wont accept illegitimate children. The legal daughter of Albertito is Bettina Lopez Osmena the wife of Serge Osmena.

before i used to wonder how it feels to be filthy rich.. to never have to work for money and to be given everything you need. after reading articles about celine and her brother, i feel more content with where i am now. i am definitely not rich but my problems are way simpler than theirs, hence, i think i’m happier :)

Its so sad that the new generation of Lopez clan turned out this way.Its very far from what their grandparents (mariquit and nanding)used to be when they are still alive.Celine’s lolo, Nanding Lopez is no other than former Vice President Fernando Lopez who is also the brother of Eugenio Lopez of ABS-CBN. The Lopez clan used to be a respected family in Iloilo and Guimaras because of good deeds ,many charitable acts and owns thousand of hectares of land.Celine and albertito’s parents used to be the governor of Guimaras and a congressman in Iloilo’s 2nd district. As they say, this is the bad effect when fame and money gets in your head.Ganyan talaga pag hindi mo pinaghihirapan ang pera ,gastos ka lang ng gastos. You don’t have to think and work for what you will be eating on the next meal.Pity on you dear….

Pathetic naman nun! Obviously maliit ang **** nya. Bakit ipapapatay pa? Bakit di na lang siya ang tumira / bumugbog? Mas class pa ang katulong namin kesa sa kanya!! I think people like these are one of the lowest classes, just right before criminals (rapists, murderers, etc). Albertito, earn somthing for once in your life man (or should I say boy!).

celine’s family does not own meralco and abs-cbn. she is a ‘poor’ relative, yung totoong mayaman is the Oscar Lopez line, who try to stay away from the spotlight. they are secure enough in their wealth. celine and her ‘Gucci Gang’:
Tim Yap, DJ Montano, Tina Tinio, Wendy P, Jenni Epperson JM Rodriguez,Lucia Palami, Pepper Teehankee, Ciara Sevilla, Xeng Zulueta Cristina Angelica Garcia are just a bunch of wannabes.

hay naku, such losers these people are. they act like royalty in their little kingdown when the truth is, they’re just a bunch of nobodys in the grand scheme of things. self-centered and filthy individuals. makes me wonder about those so-called friends who i used to see when i lived in manila – they were friends with the Gucci Gang and seeing the GG in action back then, wow, wish i had a spycam. would have been a nice documentary

Hey people enough with the crab menality. It only shows how what a bunch of pathetic jealous insecure losers we all are to the world. That’s bad publicity.

    Here’s the latest on Celine’s brother.. http://thedailyguardian.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=10310&Itemid=1

Celine’s and Tito’s behavior reflect on their parents. Tito Lopez goes around with nothing else to do but threaten people’s lives. This f@g with his entourage of f@gs and trying hards go around in Iloilo thinking that they are part of royalty. Take out the money and all that is left is Nanding and Mariquit Lopez’ lineage.

Emily Lopez does prove one thing… she came from nothing and that is why she must reassure herself that she is worthy of something by drowning in material things.

What about those other Lopezes who must always have their pictures taken each time they have a party or donate something. Can’t these people just help without the fanfare? I wish they would learn from other dignified and rich families who help out quietly. Unlike Sara who has to advertise all she does. I won’t be surprised one of these days where we’ll read about that her fart smells good! Here’s another one who came from nothing but thinks she is something. Sara, read Leticia Baldridge’s : Taste, what money cannot buy. May all the Lopezes learn from it
