Yasmien Kurdi clarifies her sexy bikini photos that have been posted earlier here. In an interview with Pia Guanio in Showbiz Central yesterday, Yasmien Kurdi clarified the Yasmien Kurdi bikini photos that have spread even in tabloids.

“Nakuha po yun sa Facebook account ko. Pero naka-private account po yun kaya hindi ko alam kung sino ang kumuha sa mga friends ko. Sana nga nilagay nila… Si Pilita…kilala mo ba yun, yung make-up artist? At saka si Kuya Otep Bongcalan, program manager? Naku, mas sexy pa ang mga yun sa akin! E, lahat kami stressed, so nagti-trip kami sa isang beach sa Zambales, so lahat kami nagpo-pose. At saka, last year pa yun! Ngayon lang lumabas yun. Alangan namang magpantalon pa ‘ko sa beach, e, beach yun!” Yasmien Kurdi explains.

And Yasmien Kurdi does not think why there is a seeming big fuzz over her bikini photos. “Offensive? Naku, hindi ko nga alam kung bakit nila ginagawang big deal yun, e, sa cell phone nga lang yun!”

So, okey lang sa kanya na naglabasan yung mga sexy photos niya to think na sa ilang interviews na niya, sinasabi niyang never siyang magpo-pose nang sexy?

“For men’s magazine, yun,” mabilis niyang sagot. “Actually, okey lang naman (mag-pose ng sexy), not for men’s magazine, pero kung mga ads, okey lang. Actually, hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit magiging big deal ‘to! Last year pa ‘to, November! As in, Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig.”

“Lokohan lang po talaga ‘yan. Si Kuya Otep nga, bigla akong tinawagan kanina at sinabing, ‘Yas, yung mga loko-lokohan natin no’n, biglang naglabasan.’”

Since her Facebook account is only open to her friends, napi-feel ba niya na sa pangyayaring yun, isa sa mga kaibigan niya ang nag-betray sa kanya?

“Ayoko na pong mamintang sa isa sa mga kaibigan ko. Kung sinuman ang press or something sa mga kaibigan ko na naglabas nun. Ayoko nang mamintang ng tao.”

“Wala lang, hindi ko alam na big deal yun! At saka, nasa beach ako, alangan namang magpantalon ako or mag-abaya ako?” natatawa na lang niyang sabi.

“Si Mama kanina, ‘Uy, Yas, may lumabas na ganyan-ganoon…’ Ako naman, ‘Ah, talaga? Baka nakuha sa Facebook or something.’ So, sabi na lang niya, ‘Mag-ingat ka next time.’ Kaya sabi ko, ‘Ah, okey…’ Talagang grabe lang…sa beach kasi, lagi akong ganoon… Kung makikita n’yo pa nga akong mag-surf or something, palagi akong ganoon.”

Samantala, nasa studio rin si JC de Vera ng Showbiz Central para sa promotion nila ng movie nilang Loving You. Biro ni Pia, kung cool lang daw si Yasmien sa mga naglabasan niyang picture, si JC raw ang nagagalit.

Pero parehong kinumpirma ng dalawa na magkasama sila nang nag-pictorial si Yasmien ng ganoon.

“Taping po kasi ‘yan ng Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig…si JC, naliligo siya sa beach, ako at saka yung mga bakla, kami yung nagti-trip na mag-picture,” natatawang kuwento pa ni Yas.

Biro naman ni JC kay Yas, “Pero nang makita ko nga, sabi ko, ‘Wow, Yas, ang sexy! Keep it up!’ Pero bakit naman lumabas? Dapat kasi, hindi ka nagpo-post ng mga ganyang pictures, alam mo namang puwedeng may mag-grab.”

My reaction? Hello! They have a movie showing soon..this could be for publicity purposes and if it was really not intended for the promo well consider it as a boost for the publicity of “Loving You.” That’s the way of Philippine Showbiz anyway.

JC De Vera and Yasmien Kurdi stars in Regal’s StudioMax Films, Loving You. Loving You chronicles the funny, dramatic, bittersweet, and exciting romantic adventures of a group of friends who all work at a call center. JC De Vera is Jepoi, a happy-go-lucky fellow who works at the call center’s IT (information technology) department. While Jepoi is adept at making broken computers work again, he is no good at mending a relationship with his female best friend Lane who, for a reason that Jepoi is too stubborn to see, has shied away from him.

Yasmien Kurdi is Lane, an employee who has been recently appointed as second executive assistant to the Site Account Manager. Focused and dedicated, she loses herself and goes all out whenever her best friend Jepoi is concerned. Lane is even more unprepared and disoriented when her hot-looking boss Caleb starts giving special attention to her.

JC De Vera and Yasmien Kurdi are excited about Loving You, “Madinig lang ng mga fans na first movie namin ito together, kaabang-abang na!” comments JC. Yasmien is quick to say that aside from that, she and JC have more surprises for their loyal followers and lovers of romance films in general. “Marami kaming eksena dito sa pelikula na ginawa namin for the first time!” she reveals. “Eto yung mga eksenang hindi ko ginagawa sa TV na iniiyakan ko at tinatanggihan ko, nandito sa pelikulang ito! Nakakaloka! Patay ako sa tatay ko!” To illustrate her point, Yasmien cites the mature kissing scenes taken at the beach. “From first scene to last ‘pung’ kissing scene!” Yasmien declares almost breathless. To which JC playfully retorts, “So, it’s great!”
