Mercedes Cabral Most Beautiful In Cannes

Filipina actress Mercedes Cabral is voted as the Most Beautiful amongst the actresses who walked on the Red Carpet in the 61st Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France in an online poll. I guess Mercedes Cabral won as prettiest because of her exotic looks. She beat Cate Blanchett, Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman, Salma Hayek, Madonna, among others. Penelope Cruz was more stunning, IMHO. Mercedes Cabral was in Cannes for her movie, “Serbis” which was an Official Entry to the 61st Cannes Film Festival.

Mercedes Cabral is also off to Korea to shoot a movie entitled “Thirst” with 2004 Grand Prix winner for direction, Park Chan-woo, who won for the film “Oldboy.” In “Thirst,” Mercedes Cabral plays the Filipina wife of a Korean national who is very passionate about their love affair.
