James Yap and Kris Aquino left Manila on August 2 for a 16-day U.S. vacation and a second honeymoon at the same time to make up for their recent short-lived separation. The power couple’s US itenerary will be New York City and Las Vegas. Kris Aquino and James Yap will watch Little Mermaid, Legally Blonde, and Wicked on Broadway while in New York City. They also secured tickets to watch Love and La Reve in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While they are away, James’s mom will come to Manila from Escalante to take care of Joshua and Baby James. Kris Aquino and James Yap will return to the Philippines in time for the 25th deth anniversary of Kris’s father, former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino on August 21.

Power couple Kris Aquino and James Yap are at the center of Philippine Showbiz celebrity news frenzy this week with the news of their separation. But the James Yap and Kris Aquino separation went on for only several weeks and they have since reconciled. It was reported that the cause of their temporary split-up is Comedy Queen Ai Ai Delas Alas who ticked off James Yap in the Hope Centeno issue when AiAi tactlessly joked to Kris, “Isoli mo muna si James sa nanay niya.”

A heated argument ensued which opened a floodgate of other things..and a temporary separation happened which lasted several weeks just until last week. The couple are now once again seeking marriage counseling..The couple has a one year old son in Baby James.
