ABS-CBN’s The Singing Bee is the no. 1 TV show among Primetime shows in the Philippines for the whole month of May, overtaking GMA’s “Dyesebel” by just .2%. Dyesebel was the no. 1 TV show for the month of April. The Singing Bee is the Philippine franchise of the The Singing Bee, also popular abroad. The Singing Bee scored a 32.6 percent rating against Deysebel ’s 32.4 tally. The ratings is according to the latest survey report prepared by AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines among nationwide households for the whole month of May.

Raymond Gutierrez is GMA’s most in demand host. Currently, Raymond Gutierrez even has to drop Showbiz Central from his roster of shows hosted live, he can only do off set interviews and voice-overs but not its live telecast. Raymond Gutierrez is one of the original hosts together with Pia Guanio and John “Sweet” Lapus in Showbiz Central.

Raymond Gutierrez hosts Pinoy Idol, SOP, and his QTV 11 lifestyle show Living It Up with Issa Litton, Sam Oh and Tim Yap. The reality singing show American Idol franchise, Pinoy Idol, is what is keeping Raymond at his toes most of the time. Pinoy Idol is now being telecast live on Fridays to Sundays but since he hosts it, he is also kept busy even on days that it is not broadcasted live.

With all his busy schedule, Raymond Gutierrez is just ignoring the gay rumors and is laughing all the way to the bank.

Marian Rivera has been caught on tape again in another “scandalous” behavior. When the Marian Rivera nagtaray video came out it became a viral video. Almost everyone were looking for it in the Philippines and Filipinos abroad also came to flock where they can see it. Now, another video of Marian Rivera came out and is named “Marian Rivera Nagtaray Video Part 2.

In that video, Marian is seen making “tapik” to a make-up artists hand, apparently irked by whatever the makeup artist is doing. Marian’s face is shown visibly irritated. A far cry from the sweet and humble Marimar and Dyesebel. Could Marian Rivera’s off cam behavior mirror what she really is in general? Could it be that the rift with Katrina Halili and Bianca King on the set of Marimar mirror her true character and the talk that the contravidas in Marimar are actually the much nicer persons in real life? John Lapus is getting more beautiful or John Lapus gumaganda (the Filipino title i would have used), o di ba..lol..just take a look at these photos, Sweet is blooming. John “Sweet” Lapus celebrated his 15th anniversary in showbiz recently in his bar in Esquinita, Quezon City. On hand to attend the anniversary bash are a mix of ABS-CBN and GMA peeps, 4 directors from ABS-CBN, and several artistas who are all close to John Sweet Lapus like Eugene Domingo, Carlos Morales, DJ Durano, Romnick Sarmenta, Harlene Bautista and kids, Candy Pangilinan, etc… John “Sweet” Lapus is host of GMA’s Sunday gabfest, Showbiz Central.

Meanwhile to celebrate it with the general public, John Lapus’ 15th Anniversary in Philippine Showbiz will be marked with a concert entitled, Sweetilicious on May 31 (Saturday), 8 pm, at The Music Museum. His special guests are Dingdong Dantes, Jay-R and Janno Gibbs.
