From the not so good looking lass who came from the masses and won Pinoy Pop Superstar then in IBC13 to a multimedia star now, certainly, Sarah Geronimo has gone places. In her latest pictorial for “A Very Special Love” she is once again transformed into some beauty rivaling Bea Alonzo, erstwhile film and television partner of John Lloyd Cruz, Sarah’s leading man in A Very Special Love.

The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) announced the nominees of the 24th Star Awards For
Movies 2008, to be held on June 27, in the Henry Lee Irwin Theater, Ateneo De Manila University, Quezon City. The late Rudy Fernandez will be awarded a posthumous Ulirang Artista Lifetime
Achievement Award.

Here’s the list of nominees:

The 24th Star Awards for Movies will be shown via delayed telecast on ABS-CBN 2’s “Sunday’s Best” on Sunday, June 29 at 10 PM.

Bea Alonzo was chosen to play the role of of Betty over Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis, Maja Salvador and Judy Ann Santos (?!!). Bea Alonzo is the 12th Betty La Fea in the worldwide franchise, since there are or there have been 11 Betty La Fea or Ugly Betty editions around the world. In the US, America Ferrara won awards in the Golden Globes and Emmy’s for Ugly Betty. This is the same Betty La Fea role wherein Regine Velasquez almost transferred to ABS-CBN.

And while were at it, Bea Alonzo’s boobey are also showcased almost always in her interviews. Will she go the sexy route someday?

In a growing list of film and tv celebrities doing a recording, comes an addition to the list, the versatile Bea Alonzo. Pictorial for Bea Alonzo ’s debut album has been made already, while she is still in the finishing stage of recording. Bea Alonzo dabbled in singing before but only in soundtracks to her tv and movie roles. Notably, ” I’ll Always Love You ” in the Maging Sino Ka Man Soundtrack.
