Banana Split Girls
Banana Split Girls Roxanne Guinoo, Cristine Reyes, Angelica Panganiban, Valerie Concepcion and RR Herrera. Banana Split is the female version of Goin’ Bananas, the popular ’80s gag show that starred Christopher de Leon, Johnny Delgado, Edgar Mortiz and the late Jay Ilagan. The scriptwriters of Banana Split consist of the same writers, who worked in Goin’ Bananas, Tropang Trumpo and Goin’ Bulilit. Banana Split Girls Cast are not just sexy girls but are touted to be good actresses as well. At first Banana Split got a negative reaction mainly because of its allegedly suggestive concept, and that it mainly targets the male audience. Director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz denies it was conceptualized as such, “Hindi sila komedyante dito, kundi actors sila doing comedy. So maipapakita nila ‘yung talent nila hindi bilang komedyante kundi ang magpapatawa dito ‘yung script namin.
“Yung (Goin’) Bananas namin nung araw, ‘yung pinakita namin, we are not comedians noon. We were actors doing comedy. ‘Yun din ang gusto kong gawin dito sa Banana Split. Di sila komedyante, artista sila.”
Banana Split airs every Saturday right after MMK (Maalaala Mo Kaya) on ABS-CBN.

i think drs no nid 2 compare d two shows cz first iba ung sked nla bubble gang is during friday wyl banana split is saturday @ iba namn talaga cla. Dr both comedy bt ung genre nla its different. BAnana Split is sexy type most of dr jokes tlagang my halong sexiness bt w/ bubble gang mixed kahit sino pwede panoorin bata, matanda,…Bubble gang my pangalan na yan eh it’s hve been in d television for many2x years now and has achieved such a big recognition. Dpende narin un sa taste nang viewers, db..at alam ko ung ng-aargue jan sa taas it cud supporters of GMA or ABS..network war parin d yan ‘bcoz kung ano ang mas mganda panoorin. Of kors, if ur a solid KApuso or KApamilya pipintasan mo yung kabila..hehhe..for me, it doens’t matter wht channel d important thing is d show itself mganda ba @ my kapupulutan na aral…so ung mga nag-aaway away jan tigilan nyo na..WEr ol Filipinos so please stop..Kau lng naman inuuto nang shows…just respect each others choices…ok…
