UPDATE: Anoop Desai is through to the wildcard round, where 8 hopefuls are going to battle it out for only 3 slots to the Top 12. And yeAH, Anoop looks specially cute last night. Update: Anoop “Dogg” Desai was voted out (?) of Group 1 tonight and already fans are also saying Anoop Desai was robbed by American Idol. Just like Jamar Rogers ehh. Well, how about Tatiana Del Toro too? Unfortunately, Tatiana Del Toro was also booted out. Getting thru are Danny Gokey, Michael Sarver and by virtue of the new American Idol rule that a girl should also get thru, Alexis Grace. Me Sad. I hope he still get into the 3 Wildcard slot though. So does with Tatiana Del Toro. Here’s hoping. And speaking of another Bombayish guy, in American Idol Season 8, they also have one in the person of the adorable Anoop Desai. He became a darling, when he auditioned in a scraggly outfit but came off good singing Thank You by Boyz II Men. Ain’t no Sanjaya Malakar, this Anoop is, and that’s a compliment! He is also a cute Indian, American this time, as much as Dev Patel, Indian-British. Anoop Desai did good tonight when he together with the other Group 1 members of the Top 36 Semifinalists in American Idol Season 8 performed. But Anoop Desai got a not so cheerful feedback from the judges, saying the song was a weird choice.
I do think anoop is really cute! I don’t like Tatiana Whatever her face is though.

Uh, that bottom photo is fake. I saw that it was created by someone on the AI boards. Let’s face it Anoop is not cute. He looks like a dork. Has heavy eyebrows that almost connect. He body shape is not attractive and his hair in outdated. He looks like a bookworm, not an Idol. He doesn’t even song that great. He has screwed up several times during the contest.

Anoop is just a simple guy with a soulful voice. Though he won't be able to win the title as being the season 8 american idol, Philippines will still continue to support and adore him. We'll wai for his album
