Amanda Overmyer voted off American Idol

March 20, 2008 · Filed Under American Idol, Mariah Carey, Ramiele Malubay

Amanda Overmyer was voted off on American Idol 7 awhile ago. The bottom 3 are Amanda Overmyer, Kristy Lee Cook and Carly Smithson, for an all-female bottom three. Luckily, our own bet, Filipina Ramiele Malubay did not get the boot despite the not so positive reactions from judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson for the past 3 weeks in a row.

The judges, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson concurred though with the bottom 3 choice on tonight’s show.

Amanda Overmyer, 23, from Mulberry, Indiana, had performed “Back in the USSR” during a second consecutive week of Beatles-themed singing.

In tonight’s American Idol show, it was announced that mentors in American Idol season 7, includes Dolly Parton, Mariah Carey, Neil Diamond and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
