ABS-CBN ‘Class’ , GMA Pang ‘Masa’
‘CLASS’ & ‘MASA’ – A showbiz authority notes that while GMA is way, way ahead of ABS-CBN in the primetime race, both networks are “fully loaded,” meaning overflowing with commercials. One would expect GMA to have much more sponsors than ABS-CBN, yet they’re about even in advertisements.
Why is this so?
The showbiz authority in reference says it’s because advertisers are now considering not only the number of viewers, but quality of shows as well. GMA primetime programs may have the number, large viewership, but ABS-CBN has the quality, the high production values and the technical craftsmanship.
Think of ABS-CBN’s ‘Lobo’ and ‘Maligno’ and ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya,’ the showbiz authority continues. Think of GMA’s ‘Joaquin Bordado’ and ‘Dyesebel’ and ‘Babangon Ako at Dudurugin Kita.’ Compare and see the difference.
Seems that ABS-CBN has the limited A & B market, while GMA has captured the much bigger C, D, & E viewers. And it tells in the ratings. Advertisers target both audiences. Which explains why both channels are “fully loaded.”

Excuse me, mega manila is just a part of the whole Philippines. Basta ABS-CBN is still Number 1, not only in Philippines but WORLDWIDE… k?

Why does everybody think that when manila catches cold the whole country sneezes?.. Such an irony isn’t it? If its in Manila, GMA reigns, its only in Manila.. Plus in Iloilo that GMA is neck to neck with ABS-CBN, Only in Manila and Iloilo.. and 1/3 of the population is in Manila so that means the 2/3 goes to ABS-CBN.. Simple logic isn’t it? Im stating the fact and making it simple..

Hindi naman ako papayag na class ang shows ng abs-cbn. Eh class ba ang Wowowee??? Saksakan nga ng kabaduyan ang show na yon eh. Yong PBB, ang baduy din, walang kakwenta-kwentang show.

Para sa akin mas walang class ang shows ng abs-cbn kagaya na lang ng Wowowee at PBB. Hindi ko talaga makita kung ano ang pinapanood sa PBB, walang kwenta eh.

Ang pinaguusapan dito ang technical craftmanship ng ABS-CBN kaya class with high quality and production values.. Sabi na nga clear na clear see the difference, kaya kayo nga kapuso mag switch channel kayo para makita nyo ang layo ng difference, sa mga colors and effects sa tv gandang ABS yan.. Yan ang wala sa GMA..ang mga soap opera kasi nila parang pang 70s or 80s ang dating ng colors sa tv..

kahit sinasabi mo jane na walang kwenta ang Wowowee pero sikat na sikat ito sa ibang bansa para sa lahat ng mga OFWs. San ba pumupunta ang mga balikbayans sa pag-uwi nila sa Pinas di ba sa wowowee???

Mabuti dito class ang mga readers kukunti lang ang mga taga GMA..hindi katulad sa PEP puro baduy kasi mga taga GMA…
